Children's Wear

It is always good to introduce children to their Scottish heritage at a early age. On this page you will find a selection of garments for both boys and girls that can be produced in their own family tartan.

Also, of course, we offer tartan fabric/yardage if you feel like doing it yourself.

Child’s Kilt/Skirt

This is a new range of kilts/skirts for children is made to order from Locharron’s Reiver fabric. A generous amount of fabric is used for nice deep pleats. All are made with elasticized waists (at the back) for extra growth.

The Child’s Kilt/Skirt is available in any of the Locharron Reiver range of over 500 tartans. Contact us for tartan availability.

Each garment is priced according to the Length. Please note that the maximum size for this range is a 36” hip or a 20+2” length.

Please state the waist, hip/seat and length and advise us if it is for a girl or a boy

Holly Tartan Dress

This child’s dress is made from Locharron’s Springweight 8 oz tartan fabric. The stock tartans are Black Watch, Isle of Skye and Scotland Forever.

It is also available by special order in any of the tartans in the Reiver Springweight range. Contact us for tartan availability.
